Pre-school
Pre-school is a pedagogic group activity for children whose parents work, study or look out for work. The pre-school shall give the children care and contribute to their bringing up. The pre-school receives children from the age of 6 months and until they start attending pre-school class or compulsory school.
You are not obliged to choose the pre-school nearest your home for your child. Your choice is satisfied if there is a place for your child.
You can also choose a home daycare nursery, where the nurse receive children in her home, or an independent pre-school, run by another organization than the municipality.
