Upper secondary schools

The municipal schools offer a choice between 17 different national programmes, but also a possibility to form special programmes. International Baccalaureate is also offered.

The individual program is for those who want to make up their grades from the compulsory school and prepare more for a national programme.

The municipal upper secondary schools have somewhat different profiles:

The Almåsgymnasiet has nine programmes preparing for a profession in trade, hotel and restaurants, tourism, child care and medical care, and more.

The Bäckängsgymnasiet prepares for further studies through its programmes in natural science and civics.

The Sven Eriksonsgymnasiet has education in technics, but also International Baccalaureate and an entrepreneurial programme.

The Tullengymnasiet offers the individual programme.

The Viskastrandsgymnasiet prepares for a future as for instance building worker, electrician, carpenter, or car mechanic.
