Violence against women
If you have been subject to violence or threats, there are ways to get help. During office hours, you can reach the social security services at the municipality at tel 033- 35 70 00. If you acutely need help out of office hours, call 112 and ask for the welfare emergency service.
"Kvinnojouren" is run by volunteers, but the day-to-day services are carried out by employed staff. You can talk to social workers and get advice through the phone, or come for a supporting dialogue. If you can't stay at home anymore, the "Kvinnojouren" can offer a protected living, a shelter.
"Kvinnofridslinjen" offers a possibility to get a supporting talk through the phone if you have been subject to threats or violence. The calls are free of charge and will not show on the telephone bill.
"Utväg" offers a supporting dialogue and group activities for children, women and men. "Utväg" aims to motivate a change, and to give support and advíce in different situations.
Below, you find addresses and phone numbers to other resources for support. You may remain anonymous, if you like. It is up to you if you just want to ask a question, or if you want practical help in an acute situation.

Utväg (A way out)
"Utväg" offers a supporting dialogue and group activities for children, women and men. "Utväg" aims to motivate a change, and to give support and advíce in different situations.
"Utväg" is a co-operation between the police, the health and medical care, the correctional care and the municipalities in the region.
