Borås offers a large range of venues for sports and recreation, both for the spectators and for those who do physical exercise. This is just a small selection.
Borås Arena
Borås Arena is one of Sweden's most modern arenas for football and other events, and home for Elfsborg, Swedish champions 2006.
Open-air recreation centres
The hilly surroundings of Borås offer beautiful views and interesting jogging-tracks. The recreation centres are convenient starting-points for an outing.
Swimming-baths
Borås offers a modern swimming arena and a swimming-bath for recreation and leisure, as well as traditional bathes in the many lakes.
Right of public access
In Sweden, everyone has the right to be out in the countryside. We call this the right of public access. This right requires consideration, responsibility and good judgement, though.
