Parks of Borås

Ramnaparken was created through a donation to the city in 1907. A bird colony was established by the nearby lake in the 1920s.

Annelundsparken was bought by the City of Borås in 1945 and is preserved as a mixed forest. A small orchard was planted in 1993, and a playground suitable for disabled children was built the following year.

Almåsparken is devoted to our human senses sight, hearing, smell and taste, with 450 different herbs.

Bryggareplatsen is a green lung next to the bus terminus and the factory district rising behind it.

Linnéparken has got seven small "rooms", each created as an interlude in the park.

Kvarnbergsparken in the older residential district of Salängen has a picturesque little watertower built in 1900.

Nybroparken is sited on one of the bends in the River Viskan where it passes through Borås, and offers a wooded, shady retreat away from the bustle of the city.

Majorslunden dates from the 1940s and has large flowerbeds displaying 125 different kinds of perennials.

Druvkilen is situated in an scenic location by a waterfall in the river Viskan. The theme of this beautiful park is lilies, clematis and dahlias.

Fjärdingsparken is a richly diverse park offering visitors opportunities for recreation, play and pleasure. A playground, a sports field, a course for frisbee golf and a large lawn with a stage contributes to the many possibilites of this park.
