Stadsparksbadet
(City Park Swimming-baths) Stadsparksbadet is situated in the centre of Borås, beautifully surrounded by the central park. A water adventure complex where everyone in the family has a great time. The young children have their own shallow water area, an octopus that spouts water and a water slide for the 1 to 7 year olds. The daring can try out the wave pool and the climbing wall. (Borås swimming arena) Inaugurated in 2010, the indoor swimming arena offers a 50 metre pool providing excellent opportunities for athletes' training as well as more moderate exercise. Almenäs is a bathing-place at the lake Öresjö, just a kilometre from Borås camping ground. This bathing area has the Blue Flag standard, which means that the water is tested several times a week. Beach bathes
There are 21 bathing-places, tended by the municipality, in the different lakes. Some of the most popular ones are to be found at the lake Viaredssjön at Sjömarken west of Borås, at the lake Transåssjön just south of Borås, and at the lake Öresjö at Fristad north of Borås.
