Dog swimming areas

In Borås, there are two public dog swimming areas where you and your dog can swim together, located at Sjöbo and Rydboholm. You are welcome to visit either of these swimming areas for a refreshing dip with your four-legged friend!

• Sjöbo Beach
• Furusjön Beach

Thanks to the Right of Public Access, your dog can also swim in other places besides the public dog swimming areas:

• Kypesjön: across the lake from the main swimming area
• Byttorpssjön/Kolbränningen: near the barbecue area, across the lake from the main swimming area
• Fristad: at the small beach between Asklanda and Skalle swimming areas
• Tämta: east of Torvån, near the main swimming area
• Dalsjöfors: the "dog swimming area" along the lit walking trail by Dalsjön
• Sjömarken: the point west of the pier
• Sandared: the beach next to the Sailing Club
