Children and youth
The City of Borås offers a rich variety of activities for children and young people. You can watch movies, read books, visit playgrounds, attend sports schools, or join storytime sessions. For older children, there are youth centers, courses at Borås Cultural School, or the opportunity to explore Lundby Park.
Lördagsbarn (Saturdays for kids)
Cultural events for children aged 0-10 are held on Saturdays, with new events almost every week during spring and autumn. Admission is free to most events!
There are 11 locations for open youth activities. You work together with staff and other visitors to shape the activities.
A municipal art house cinema that screens matinee films for children and international quality films for young adults.
Cultural School offers courses in music, theater, dance, art, textiles, circus, and literature. Welcome to explore our subjects and courses.
The City of Borås has 164 playgrounds. Here, you can swing, slide, or build sandcastles in the sandbox.
